# Sentry Driver

> Sentry Driver sends Tesla owners timely alerts about how their car is driven when the owner's phone is not detected.

Sentry Driver is an owner-only iOS and Android app that monitors how your Tesla is driven when your owner phone is not detected in the vehicle. It connects through Tesla's official Fleet API using OAuth, so your Tesla login credentials are never stored, and it uses Bluetooth owner-detection to separate owner-present drives from monitored drives — then sends near real-time alerts for speeding, hard braking, curfew or late-night driving, geofence or zone violations, and possible accidents, plus weekly driving summaries. There is no hardware to install and nothing for the other driver to set up, and one account can cover multiple cars. It works with supported Tesla Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck vehicles that meet Tesla Fleet API and telemetry requirements. Sentry Driver only alerts and reports — it never controls, caps, or limits the car. Sentry Driver is a separate product from Sentry Pro.
