What are critical alerts and how do I enable them?

Critical alerts can bypass Do Not Disturb and silent mode to ensure you never miss important safety notifications.

This feature is particularly useful for accident detection alerts, where immediate notification could be crucial.

On Android:

Android handles notification priority through notification channels. You can configure these in your phone’s settings to allow Sentry Driver notifications to bypass Do Not Disturb:

1. Go to Settings > Apps > Sentry Driver > Notifications
2. Find the notification channel you want to prioritize
3. Enable Override Do Not Disturb

iOS (Coming Soon):

When the iOS app launches, it will support Apple’s Critical Alerts feature, which can bypass silent mode and Do Not Disturb. This requires iOS 12 or later.
