Can I customize notification sounds for different vehicles?

Yes, you can set different notification sounds for each vehicle to quickly identify which Tesla triggered an alert.

This is especially useful if you monitor multiple vehicles and want to know immediately which one needs attention.

Available sounds:

  • System Default
  • Sci-Fi
  • Police
  • Yelp
  • Robot
  • Critical

To change a vehicle’s notification sound:

  1. Open Sentry Driver
  2. Switch to the vehicle you want to configure (use the vehicle selector)
  3. Go to Settings tab
  4. Tap Sound & Vibration under Notifications
  5. Select your preferred sound (it will preview when tapped)

Tips for multiple vehicles:

  • Assign distinct sounds to each vehicle
  • Use memorable associations (e.g., “Robot” for your Cybertruck)
  • The “Critical” sound is attention-grabbing for your primary vehicle

Per-vehicle settings also include:

  • Notification escalation mode (standard, escalate to critical, always critical)
  • Battery degradation alerts toggle
  • Individual rule configurations
